It is completely waterproof, thanks to wire glands, a fully-potted wire entrance and a pressure-fit gasket (note: must be tightened in a star pattern) - but its heat dissipation is so efficient that it can also be used on land to illuminate walkways, gardens or architectural features. Or omit the mount to transform it into a well light for uplighting columns, trees, walls and more.
• PROFESSIONAL GRADE - This fixture features a cold forged brass faceplate that is less porous than cast brass and better suited to underwater conditions, a heavy brass mount for stability, and a durable PVC body. A 25-foot 18AWG lead wire is also included.
• LED BULB INCLUDED - The included 5W (30W halogen replacement) LED MR16 bulb produces 400 lumens of 2700K wam white light - and its beam spread is easily adjusted between 20 degrees (narrow), 40 degrees (flood) or 60 degrees (wide flood) simply by turning the lens.
