Looks great in the fire pit as an "ice cube" accent, but the "ice" fire glass is no problem with the heat temperature. They will not melt or discolor when they are directly heated by the propane or natural gas flames.

As long as you soak and rinse them in a bucket of vinegar and dish soap prior to putting them into my propane fire pit, the fire glass comes out looking clear and absolutely beautiful in your fire pit.
